VOLLEYBALL 2024

Join in the fun of one of the most popular sports at UNE! The UNE Volleyball Club holds regular Monday and Thursday night indoor competitions in Trimester 1 (March to May) and Trimester 2 (July to September) at the SportUNE halls. We also hold twilight competitions and youth development activities throughout the year depending on demand. Our annual 2-day tournament “Frosty Balls” is held each year in June. The Volleyball club was re-activated in 2011 and the sport is now very well supported at UNE with more than 30 teams competing in our regular competitions. Each competition has 3 divisions so that everyone from novice social players right up to experienced serious players can get a great game. Anyone from UNE or the wider Armidale community is most welcome to join. We are always looking for new representative level players too! Regular rep. training and opportunities for tournament play occur throughout the year. So, if you’re an experienced player, or would like to develop your skills to that level, we would love to hear from you.
