2019 UNE Sports Awards Nomination - Coach of the Year Award

UNE Coach of the Year Award

These awards will be made annually to nominee/s who demonstrated outstanding achievements against the respective award criteria as judged by the Blues Committee.

REQUIREMENTS

1.Minimum Qualification - Level 1 Accreditation.

Demonstrated application of appropriate and accepted training theory and coaching principles to improve the level of performance of the team or the athlete.

2.Success with a team winning a competition or improvement of a team from one season to next or within a season.

3.Evidence of attracting players to the Club/maintaining members in the Club in order to develop the Club.

4.Active participation in the affairs of the Club.

5.Clear record of achievements in the year under review.

6.Presentation of a positive image of coaching and the role of the Coach.

7.Nominees will be coaches of UNE teams or UNE College teams competing at a local, regional or higher competition level.

N.B. Please email copies of information (such as certificates, newspaper clippings, letters confirming team selection etc.) which will help substantiate the nominees sporting achievements over the past twelve months.

CLOSING DATE
Nominations are to be received by: 31 August, 2019. 
Late nominations may be approved by committee. 

Successful finalists will be advised of the Selection Committee’s decision are invited to the UNE Annual Sports Awards Evening where the winner will be announced.

The evening will take place on Wednesday 25th September at The 'Stro
